Education = Teaching x Student Learning Capacity

How well students process information and learn impact teaching effectiveness.    Although there may be room for improvement in teaching effectiveness, in many cases the primary reason students underperform academically is because they have weak learning skills.

Even if the teaching element is efficient, low student learning capacity can impact academic improvement.  Yes, teaching can adapt to a point, but weak learning skills can bring down scores despite any teacher’s best efforts.

We provide the tools to help schools assess student learning capacity and improve learning effectiveness.  This in turn improves AYP.

Gibson Test--the Power to Know
Now your school can quickly and easily assess student learning capacity.  Heretofore, cognitive skill testing was prohibitively costly and resource limited.  You can now test every student online in just 35-40 minutes.  Knowing that a student has weak skills can be a turning point for the student, remove the false blame from the teaching process and provide the needed guidance for resolving the underlying problem.

What about cost?  If your school will test every student in 2nd grade and above, we will provide the Gibson Test at no cost.  Traditional testing costs hundreds of dollars per student.  The wholesale cost for the Gibson Test is $15 per test.  Because testing is a critical aspect of improving academic success, we are working with donors nationwide to make this tool available to schools at no cost.

BrainSkills Training Program--the Power to Change
Once you know which underperforming students have weak skills, you can can now address the cause.  The proper training can strengthen weak skills and empower learning.

To introduce the program, our nonprofit partner Cognitive First, will provide ten training programs to qualified students at no cost.  Students must qualify for the school lunch program and the school must provide adequate supervision.  Opportunities are limited.  Please contact us for more information.

Weak Skills make learning hard.  Strong Skills empower learning

Now your school can have the Power to Know and the Power to Change.  Together, we can help to close the Achievement Gap.
