BrainSkills is a brain-training program for enhancing mental skills – both learning and processing capabilities. BrainSkills makes learning or work easier and faster because it builds underlying learning skills to give you better tools to help you function far more effectively at school, at work, at play, or all three.

Working in close collaboration with over 700 independent educators, doctors, scientists, researchers and other professionals in more than 500 training locations, clinics, schools and hospitals, Dr. Ken Gibson developed a proven training program that has successfully helped over 15,000 students greatly improve their cognitive skills and overcome reading difficulties. BrainSkills is converting the one-on-one trainer-led cognitive skill exercises to an online format.

Amazing Gains.
Typically, in our learning skills training with the original BrainSkills products, we have seen an average improvement of 3.6 years (and often more) by the end of the training. The initial indications are that our digitized products will match or exceed previous results. Frequently post-training test scores have been quantum leaps above pre-training scores. With students who make reversals of letters and words while reading, we’ve seen an average “cure” rate of 87%. In just 3 months of training, average advances in learning techniques have revealed 4.6 years gained in concentration, 3.5 years gained in comprehension, and 2.9 years gained in processing speed.

We made an extra effort to put the BrainSkills evaluation and exercise tools within reach of organizations and people who may feel that other programs that last for years are financially out of reach.  

Accessibility.
BrainSkills is easily administered and is accessible online, whether at home, at school, or at the office.

The Gibson Cognitive Skills Test™
The Gibson Cognitive Skills Test™ is a comprehensive online evaluation that is available internationally in the English language as a screening tool beginning in September 2007. The test is being standardized and individual standardized reports from test results will be available beginning in January 2008.

BrainSkills Cognitive Skill Exercises
The online BrainSkills core cognitive skill exercises are only available in the U.S. through organizations approved for distribution to serve urban and disadvantaged kids. Product orders initiated from countries outside the U.S. are scheduled to be available through the http://www.brainskills.com site beginning in January 2008. Reading exercises are scheduled to be available in English beginning in April 2008.
